Crime Junkie was chosen as Podcast of the Month by Good Morning America. Ashley Flowers met with the hosts of Good Morning America to talk about how she selects cases and how she grew the audience to create the biggest true crime podcast in the world.
Regarding the advocacy focus of the podcast and being contacted by families of victims, Ashley said, “These aren’t stories. They’re real people.”
Ashley also discusses the nonprofit Season of Justice, which helps solve cold cases by funding DNA testing and awareness campaigns.
